About This Role

As an Assistant Editor, you’ll be an essential part of the post-production process, helping our stories come to life from the very first rough cut. You’ll manage and organize footage, prep projects for our editors, and ensure that every cut is polished and ready to go. This role is perfect for someone who prides themselves in being organized, has a love of the post process, and is a collaborative team player!

What You’ll Do:

• Assistant editing (syncing footage, creating stringouts, preparing projects for editors, etc.)
• Maintain consistent and accurate backups of our media & hard drives
• Coordinating hard drive handoffs with various editors
• Short form editing (episode cutdowns, social exclusives, brand shoutouts, etc.)
• Episode quality control reviews

Who You Are:

• Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Comfortable working around projects that deal with sensitive content  
• Efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks neatly and accurately
• Able to deliver in fast turnaround timelines
• Strong work ethic & comfortable being self-sufficient

Work Model

At Jubilee, we follow a hybrid work model — We’re in the El Segundo office 3 days a week and remote for 2. So, you’ll need to be local or ready to make the move!
