We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Claims Representative II - Auto Adjuster to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our claims process, investigating, evaluating, and resolving auto casualty claims with a focus on fairness and efficiency.
What You'll Do:
Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate auto casualty claims arising from personal, commercial, and farm exposures.
Take high-quality recorded statements and identify potentially fraudulent claims.
Interpret contracts and set appropriate case reserves in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively and professionally with policyholders, claimants, and agents via phone, writing, and in person.
Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to reach fair and accurate claim resolutions.
Conduct field inspections (in person or via referral) as needed.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of auto claims experience preferred.
Experience with IN, IL, and/or OH jurisdictions preferred.
Prior bodily injury and/or property damage experience preferred.
Experience handling Medicare/Medicaid issues is a plus.
Auto body estimating experience is a plus.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
