This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining accurate data in our systems. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with strong typing skills, basic computer knowledge, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer databases or spreadsheets

  • Verify data accuracy and correct errors as needed

  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures

  • Review and organize documents before data entry

  • Generate routine reports and assist with data audits

  • Secure information by completing data backups

  • Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies regarding data handling


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

  • Proven experience in data entry or similar clerical role is a plus, but not required

  • Fast typing skills (35–50+ WPM preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry software

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
