Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our NEER Salesforce team to drive data-driven insights, develop predictive models, and support AI/ML initiatives across the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will combine strong statistical analysis skills with hands-on experience in SQL Server (2012 or similar) and modern data science tools to transform business data into actionable intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to solve complex business problems and optimize Salesforce platform performance
• Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from SQL Server 2012 (or similar databases) and Salesforce to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and business stakeholders to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations
• Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and automated reporting solutions to support ongoing analytics initiatives
• Implement AI/ML models within the Salesforce ecosystem, leveraging Einstein Analytics, predictive scoring, and recommendation engines
• Develop data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are maintained throughout all analytical processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server 2012 (or similar RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) with expertise in complex query writing, stored procedures, and performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with Python, R, or similar statistical programming languages
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques
• Experience with Salesforce platform and Einstein Analytics is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with data engineering tools and ETL frameworks
• Experience with generative AI and large language models
• Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
