Job Details

• 140 hospital beds
• 4-bed open ICU
• One physician per day
• Hospitalist is on site 7am-5pm and on call 5pm-7pm
• SCP Health Telehospitalist Hub covers hospital medicine service 7pm-7am
• Part of the Ochsner Lafayette General Health System
• Collegial work environment with ED managed by SCP
• 7 on/ 7 off block schedule
• Subspecialty support in Cardiology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Hematology/Oncology, Nephrology, Neurology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Radiology, Urology
• Attractive bonus package for full time

  Ochsner Acadia General Hospital - American Legion Post 15 is a 140-bed, non-profit hospital, part of Ochsner Lafayette General Health system. The hospital provides acute medical and surgical care, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatric, orthopedic, otolaryngology, 24/7 cardiology services, hyperbaric medicine and much more. With a brand new emergency department, Acadia General Hospital offers top-notch patient care maintaining excellent patient satisfaction rates.
