JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a motivated and dependable  Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at the Margaritaville Island Hotel in Pigeon Forge, TN . Responsible for the care and cleaning of guest rooms and public areas to create a welcome and comfortable place for our guests.

We offer the perfect blend of Mountain Latitude and Island Attitude . Our hotel has 134 rooms and suites, and features a spa, rooftop pool w/bar and a restaurant that consist of inside and outside seating.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to the policies and brand standards of the hotel.
• Restock room supplies including glassware, toiletries and linens.
• Respond to guest requests for supplies and assistance.
• Organize and restock the cart at the end of the shift.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of the guest rooms.
• Report on any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Turn in and record all lost and found items daily.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong customer focus and customer service with a positive attitude.
• Strong verbal communication skills required with an understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Physical stamina and mobility to include the ability: to reach, kneel, bend with ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years old

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time Hourly Pay: $16.00 Shifts: 8 hours each
