Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to support I-9 compliance and auditing efforts for a contract position. Based in Beverly Hills, California, this role involves ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to employment verification requirements. Ideal candidates will bring a strong attention to detail and familiarity with HR systems. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough reviews of I-9 documentation to ensure compliance with federal regulations. - Perform audits on employment records to identify and correct discrepancies. - Collaborate with HR teams to maintain accurate and organized employee records. - Utilize HR Information Systems (HRIS) to track and update I-9 documentation. - Address inquiries and provide guidance on I-9 policies and procedures. - Work efficiently to meet deadlines and complete audits within the designated timeframe. - Communicate findings and updates to relevant stakeholders. - Follow established protocols and adhere to confidentiality standards. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources or a related field. - Knowledge of I-9 compliance and auditing processes. - Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS). - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage tasks under tight deadlines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
