Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Pomona, California. This position offers an opportunity to support essential HR functions within a mental health organization, contributing to the smooth operation of the department. The role involves administrative and clerical responsibilities, with the potential for a hybrid work schedule in the future. Responsibilities: - Coordinate and schedule interviews for prospective candidates, ensuring timely communication and efficiency. - Assist in conducting orientations for new team members to facilitate onboarding and acclimation to company policies. - Prepare and draft offer letters for successful candidates, maintaining accuracy and professionalism. - Perform data entry tasks to keep HR records updated and organized. - Manage filing systems and maintain proper documentation within the HR department. - Provide clerical support to HR staff, addressing day-to-day administrative needs. - Collaborate with team members on various HR projects and initiatives. Requirements - Minimum of one year of experience in Human Resources, with demonstrated knowledge of HR processes. - At least two years of experience in clerical or administrative roles. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing schedules and documentation. - Proficiency in scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding activities. - Ability to draft well-structured correspondence, such as offer letters. - Comfortable with data entry and maintaining accurate records. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with candidates and staff.
