Paralegal - Contract Management 

Assignment Focus:
System One is partnering with an oil & gas client to hire a Paralegal. The Paralegal will support the Chief Legal Officer in managing, drafting, reviewing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documents critical to manufacturing operations. The Paralegal should have a strong understanding of contract law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage company customer, vendor, patent, trademark, and corporate contract files.
• Assist with renewals of expiring company agreements including drafting extension documents and tracking signature process.
• Assist in meeting deadlines for internal collection of information related to existing and pending patents and trademarks.
• Assist in discovery for litigation.
• Conduct legal research as needed.
• Assist with various special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited paralegal program or a Bachelor’s degree in an ABA-approved program required. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Investigative mind and strong research skills.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to self-drive and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
