Project Coordinator – High-End Custom Millwork

Role Overview

As a Project Coordinator, you will support our General Manager (GM) and Project Managers (PMs) across all stages of custom millwork projects. Your work will help streamline communication, documentation, and workflow between design, fabrication, and installation teams. This role is a vital stepping stone in our organization, offering clear opportunities for growth as you gain experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track project schedules, deliverables, deadlines, and monthly billing processes.
• Support the GM and PMs in day-to-day project administration.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, contracts, and change orders.
• Act as a liaison between clients, architects, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist with budgeting, purchase orders, and tracking job costs.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and approvals to keep projects moving forward.
• Ensure fabrication teams have up-to-date drawings, specifications, and material lists.
• Monitor inventory, order materials, and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Track and report on project progress, identifying potential risks or delays.
• Help refine internal processes to improve efficiency and quality control.
• Provide administrative support to shop and installation crews as needed.
• Uphold and model company values of honesty, transparency, teamwork, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction project coordination, construction, or millwork (preferred).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in project management software, spreadsheets, and documentation tools.
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and shop drawings.
• Ability to understand all phases of projects: design, production, client & vendor management, and administrative.
• Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

We provide steady employment, work/life balance, flexible 40hrs/wk; collaborative and supportive work environment; wage based on actual skill & experience, range between $30 (inexperienced) - $35/hr (very experienced).
