Java Kai is hiring a Part Time Delivery Driver . We are seeking a responsible and energetic person to work independently alongside an awesome, dedicated team of individuals. You must be able to work early mornings, be a motivated self-starter, have a positive attitude, and be open to flexibility in your day to day. Must be available to work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Our ideal candidate is trustworthy, has a clean driving record, is able to drive an (electric) sprinter style delivery van, can lift 75 lbs, is comfortable using a pallet jack, and likes to drive around the island while rocking out to music or podcasts.

• $20-25/hr DOE
• Early morning shifts (starting at 5AM) until around 12pm

Primary duties include:

• Daily supply + pastry deliveries. Transporting from our warehouse and Kapa'a retail store to our north and south shore locations.
• Stocking and organizing supplies, both at retail locations and our warehouse
• Picking up supplies from vendors and delivering to retail sites
• Delivering wholesale orders to customers, ensuring excellent communication with recipients and proper handling of payment/invoices
• Assist in maintaining and organizing warehouse
• Hauling pallets and other miscellaneous items
• Maintaining and cleaning delivery van

Skills and qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to perform strenuous lifting and loading of goods
• Diligence and attention to detail
• Neat, professional appearance and the ability to communicate in English
• Ability to work independently and maintain open communication with team/employers
