Job Description

Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years in network security and architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership position at large global enterprises.
• Certifications: CISSP, CCIE, CCNP Security, or equivalent certifications are required. Cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), web application firewalls, and other network security tools. Experience with Zero Trust and hybrid cloud security solutions is necessary. Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption, and authentication methods. Familiarity with automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Strategic thinker capable of balancing security and business priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving proficiencies.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering and Design Solutions: Develop and implement comprehensive enterprise network security architectures to ensure robust protection against cyber threats while supporting business objectives.
• Security Strategy and Roadmap: Establish a long-term vision for network security that aligns with the organization's goals and adapts to emerging technologies.
• Threat Mitigation: Assess, identify, and address security risks across network infrastructures, leading proactive defenses against evolving cyber threats.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Work alongside cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, and compliance departments, to integrate security solutions effectively. Mentor and guide network security engineers to foster skill development.
• Security Standards Development: Create and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines informed by industry best practices and compliance requirements. Analyze complex security challenges and design cohesive solutions to minimize risk and enhance security posture.
