This hybrid remote position requires on-site work in Bethesda, MD. (Must be local to DC, MD, VA)

Join PRISM's Global Information Security team and be a key player in securing our global enterprise, spanning on-premise and public cloud. You will research, design, engineer, implement, and support critical network security solutions. This role requires strong Networking/Security experience, deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (including Panorama and Cloud Security), and proven experience with AWS cloud migration. Responsibilities include system design, standards-based implementation, capacity planning, systems integration, process development, and providing expert technical support. This hybrid remote position must be local to DC, MD, VA. 

What You'll Bring (Must Have):

• Strong Networking and Security experience in a complex enterprise environment.
• Extensive experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including Panorama and Cloud Security.
• Proven track record of successful AWS cloud migration projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience/certification.
• 7+ years in IT, including 4+ years specializing in network security across areas like intrusion prevention, vulnerability management, identity and access management, and security logging/monitoring.
• Solid understanding of networking design and concepts (TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalls, load balancers, VRF, VLANs).
• Experience in technical planning, system integration, risk analysis, and performance/capacity management for security tools.

Highly Desirable:  

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, other relevant networking or security certifications.
