Summary
The In-School Intervention Teacher is responsible for supervising and supporting students who are assigned to in-school intervention as a disciplinary consequence. This role focuses on maintaining a structured, positive, and respectful learning environment while ensuring students remain engaged in their academic responsibilities during the intervention period.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor students assigned to in-school intervention.
Maintain order, discipline, and a supportive environment.
Ensure students complete classwork and academic assignments provided by their teachers.
Communicate with administrators, teachers, and staff regarding student progress and behavior.
Model and promote positive behavior, accountability, and conflict resolution.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and assignments during intervention.
Minimum Requirements
Appropriate Arizona Teaching Certificate.
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Additional Requirements After Hire
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
