Job Description
Description - Develop clear and concise operational instructions for process manuals, and other documents.
- Collaborate with Core team (operations union members), safety team, engineers and product managers to understand product specifications and requirements.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and accurate instructions.
- Conduct interviews with and observe work performed by various user (Operators Union employees) to gather data for documentation.
- Start-up / Shutdown / Changeovers / etc.
- Gather photographs and other useful media to enhance and provide visual clarification of documents
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in training or equivalent combination of education experience or technical writer
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a technical writer or service writer, (food industry or related)
- Solid technical writing skills, including the ability to research and document functionality, protocols and processes
- Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading and editing skills along with strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional ability in creating technical documentation for non-technical persons.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
