Job Summary: The Automotive Recondition Technician at Emich Chevrolet is a skilled position within our auto industry division. A rare opportunity to join our tenured team. This is a Full-Time, commission only role located in Lakewood, Colorado. As an individual contributor, you will play a vital role by providing high-quality reconditioning services to our Internal Sales vehicles. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail in order to ensure that all vehicles leave our lot in top condition. Compensation & Benefits: This is a commission only position with a highly competitive hourly rate ranging from $25.00 to $55.00 per hour, depending on experience. The pay schedule is biweekly. Compensation: $25.00-$55.00 per flat rate hour based on experience and certifications. Ranging from $50,000- $190,000 a year based on performance our commission based salary Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough inspection of all incoming vehicles, identifying and documenting any damages or necessary repairs
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment to Diagnose, repair and recondition vehicles, including but not limited to: engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and interior/exterior trim.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
• Communicate effectively with Sales team members and management regarding any issues or concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques to continuously improve skills and performance
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience working as an Automotive Recondition Technician or in a similar role within the auto industry
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in various automotive reconditioning techniques
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Ability to effectively use specialized tools and equipment
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
