Job Description

Amedisys Hospice in Dallas, Texas is a caring for end of life patients to provide support to both patient and families. You create your own schedule. Activities can include companionship, reading/singing, watching TV, crafts such as painting, sewing, crocheting etc are frequently done. Volunteers will need to complete a drug screening, background check, TB testing, however we do not perform a credit check. There is an orientation as well. Many college students have found credit with certain curriculums, as well as retired veterans who can participate in our We Honor Veterans programs. Volunteering is extremely rewarding activity for anyone wishing to give back to their community as well as giving yourself a feeling of satisfaction. I hope to see you soon.
