Job Description

We are hiring for a skilled Welder in the Utica NY area. 

The Welder is responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. Will operate and maintain equipment that fabricate and repair metal structures.

What you will need:

• Welding experience OR Certification with minimum 6 months machining operating and/or machining experience to be considered 
• Flux core knowledge
• Ability to lift and do physical work
• Work well as part of a team
• Good attendance
• Willingness to learn

What you will do:

• Prep and weld various steel beams
• Make sure product is of good, finished quality
• Ensure welding meets standards and specifications
• Ensure correct welding position and size
• Periodic checks on machine ensure proper functioning
• Make sure all safety devices are on machine
• Check for proper material (size, length, thickness)

Monday-Friday 7am – 3:30pm with overtime as needed

$20.00 per and up based on experience
