Role Summary:
We're seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer with 7 years of experience in designing and managing cloud-based data solutions. You'll work with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and PySpark to build data pipelines, migrate traditional systems to the cloud, and support enterprise analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks (PySpark)
Migrate RDBMS/ETL workloads to Azure Data Lake and ELT processes
Design and build data lakes and data marts for reporting and analytics
Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Ensure performance, reliability, and data quality across systems
Required Skills:
7 years with Azure Databricks & PySpark
5+ years with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake
Experience in RDBMS/ETL migration to cloud
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Preferred Attributes:
Azure certification (e.g., DP-203) preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capabilities
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Passionate about data innovation, cloud engineering, and scalable architecture design
