Summary: Business Systems Analysts bridge the gap between IT and business units by analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and implementing technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gather and document business requirements.
2. Analyze current systems and identify areas for improvement.
3. Collaborate with development teams for solution design.
4. Develop functional specifications and use cases.
5. Conduct system testing and validation.
6. Provide support during implementation and post-deployment.
7. Assist in change management and training.
8. Maintain documentation and process workflows.
9. Monitor system performance and suggest optimizations.
10. Ensure alignment of IT solutions with business goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in IT, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and business process modeling.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills/Duties:

• Certifications like CBAP or PMI-PBA.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews.
