Black Lake Investments LLC seeks Chief Technology Officer in Shorewood, MN. Telecommuting allowed for this position.

Job Description

• Responsible for the development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of Black Lake's controls environment and risk strategies.
• Oversee a team of data scientists and supervise the machine learning and Al driven technologies developed by the team within the company's secure controlled framework.
• Work with the COO and CEO to ensure the security and integrity of the company's infrastructure is sound.
• Lead the technology strategy for the company.
• Construct the Company’s cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure the security and integrity of technology systems and data through creation and enforcement of Information Security Policies and other organizational Control Protocols.
• Manage and acquire mortgage assets, utilizing data-driven approaches.
• Collaborate with investors and stakeholders to align technological advancements with business goals.
• Develop and implement data science solutions to optimize asset management.
• Lead, direct and mentor a team of technology professionals and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Minimum Requirements: The position requires a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Mathematics, Information Technology or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in a mathematical or data science occupation. Position requires any amount of experience in all of the following skills: MSR valuation and risk management strategies, credit risk frameworks, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, AI/ML, MSR

trading and analytics, predictive analytics and automated risk management, AWS, Python, PDI, SQL, Snowflake, DBT, and ELT data engineering. Telecommuting allowed for this position.

Minimum Education Required

The position requires a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Mathematics, Information Technology or a related field
