Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Director of Employee Communications & Experience for Enterprise Communications, this position will play a critical role in supporting communication strategies for Rivian’s People & Legal teams by:
    • Developing cross-functional communications that support Rivian’s employee value proposition at our manufacturing facility and service/delivery teams in the field.
    • Supporting change communication plans and awareness campaigns for Rivian employees.
    • Measuring and tracking progress; analyzing feedback, insights and consulting on action plans informed by data.
    • Supporting People and Legal team programs including learning & development, policy updates, compliance updates and talent.
    • Create comprehensive and complex communications plans that inform, engage and inspire employees across various platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 6-8 years of experience in Employee Communications.
  • Experience in creating employee communication campaigns.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong listening and verbal communication and presentation development skills.
  • Excellent writing, technical writing and editing skills.
  • An affinity for people and legal communications and the ability to understand complex programs and laws and translate them into concise and timely communications.
  • Ability to work with colleagues across organizational and cultural boundaries to ensure successful execution.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to develop and manage measurement metrics.
  • Flexibility in schedule to be able to support night and weekend shifts as needed.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace; experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and web publishing preferred.
  • The ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality is a must.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for Irvine, CA based applicants: $125,000 - $156,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).


Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
