Duration: Contract through Aug 24, 2026 (12 months)

Compensation Range: $25.00–$30.00/hr W2

Job Description:
As a Packaging Engineer, you will leverage both technical and soft skills to support a packaging category or brand. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and operations to ensure packaging solutions meet design, quality, and launch requirements. This role includes hands-on prototype assembly, tooling development participation, troubleshooting, and packaging specification work.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble packaging prototypes for consumer testing.

• Participate in new tooling development and launch management.

• Support adherence to project timelines, key dates, and vendor deliverables.

• Elevate risks or blockers to meet launch deadlines.

• Learn and use packaging systems for specifications & testing.

• Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.

• 1–3 years of packaging engineering & development experience (preferably cosmetics, Client, or related).

• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

• Understanding of packaging production processes.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently within a matrixed environment.

• Organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in cosmetics packaging.

• Exposure to global brand packaging projects.
