Job Description

Supports resort operations by performing basic HVAC tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.

As a Trades I - HVAC, you will:

• Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management
• Execute daily tasks and assigned HVAC projects while supporting other trades as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance on split systems, PTAC units, condensers, and air handlers
• Install or replace HVAC components, such as condensers, thermostats, fan motors, and minor components
• Read and interpret technical data and O&M manuals effectively
• Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site
• Operate resort operations software and devices effectively (HotSOS)
• Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions
• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools required for HVAC work
• Work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, dust masks, and in confined or narrow spaces
• Follow safety guidelines and practices
• Identify and report potential safety hazards on the property
• Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution
• Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures
• Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior
• Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership

Qualifications

• Technical certification or HVAC license required
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment
• Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
